“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” — Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)
Jaclyn has been a dedicated physiotherapist since 2016, with a special focus on post-accident rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, Melbourne.

With extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Jaclyn has worked with individuals recovering from surgery, neurological events, and those living with chronic or neurodegenerative conditions. She is well-versed in rehabilitation following orthopaedic and abdominal surgeries, amputations, musculoskeletal injuries, and strokes, supporting patients through various stages of recovery.

During her tenure at Yishun Community Hospital, Jaclyn led her team in implementing evidence-based practices through a quality improvement approach. Her work in clinical quality led to her opportunity to attend the IHI International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare 2023. She was also a key contributor to a study on Telerehabilitation acceptance during the Circuit Breaker, which was successfully published. Her passion for mentoring junior therapists earned her the prestigious "Best Teacher Award" from Yishun Health in 2011. Committed to ongoing professional development, she enhances her expertise through courses such as NOI’s Explain Pain and Graded Motor Imagery, Dynamic Stabilisation of Hip and Pelvis, and the 8th Singapore International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Symposium.

She recognizes that every individual is unique, and that each person's rehabilitation journey is filled with its own challenges and progress. Guided by this understanding, she emphasizes a holistic approach, supporting her clients at every stage and helping them move closer to their goals.

Outside of her profession, Jaclyn loves to travel. These days, however, she’s more often found singing, dancing, and keeping up with her two energetic young children.
